COMPACT VORTEX Exhaust and Filtration

Uses and Features

The Vortex Compact Scrubber is a wet dust and particle extraction system. The Compact model comes with an integral centrifugal fan installed inside an acoustic enclosure on top of the scrubber, reducing noise levels to approximately 70 dB.

The scrubber is suitable for particulate contaminants with the following characteristics: explosive, flammable, moist, wet, sticky, oily, and high temperature. These characteristics prevent dry filtration using conventional filter media, as the filters would clog, leading to high operational costs or posing an explosion risk.

The main industrial applications for Vortex systems include dust extraction from metal polishing machines, extraction from explosive material production processes, extraction from machining operations, and extraction from wet and hygroscopic chemical production processes.

The scrubber is particularly suited for customers seeking space-saving solutions, as the fan is located on top of the scrubber and the low noise level allows installation even within the production hall.
