Uses and Features
The Vortex Scrubber is a wet dust and particle extraction system. Air is drawn into the Vortex Scrubber using an external industrial fan, sized to match the airflow and pressure drop requirements of the system.
The scrubber is especially suitable for particulate contaminants that are explosive, flammable, moist, wet, sticky, oily, or at high temperatures.
These characteristics prevent the particles from being filtered dry using conventional filter media, as the filters would clog, leading to high operational costs or posing an explosion risk.
The primary industrial applications for Vortex systems include dust extraction from metal polishing machines, extraction from explosive material production processes, extraction from machining operations, and extraction from wet and hygroscopic chemical production processes.
