Uses and Features
Vortex Plastic (Vortex Scrubber) is a wet scrubber designed for the separation of dust and particles, constructed entirely from plastic. Air suction is provided by an industrial plastic fan connected to the unit.
The scrubber is suitable for particulate contaminants and salts carried in corrosive gases with the following characteristics: explosive, flammable, moist, wet, sticky, oily, and high-temperature. These characteristics prevent effective dry filtration using filter media, as the filters clog, require high operating costs, or pose an explosion risk.
The primary industrial application of Plastic Vortex systems is the extraction of corrosive dust and salts from wet and hygroscopic chemical production processes.
Technical Specification
Models:
- W-400-P for flow rates up to 4,000 m³/h.
- W-600-P for flow rates up to 6,000 m³/h.
- W-800-P for flow rates up to 8,000 m³/h.
- For higher flow rates, multiple units can be combined in parallel.
All parts of the scrubber are made from extra-thick polypropylene, providing high mechanical strength, a HEAVY DUTY structure, and long-term process durability under harsh corrosive conditions.
