Uses and Features
The PPB blower is a backward-curved centrifugal blower with welded construction, built in a HEAVY DUTY industrial design. The blower is designed to operate at maximum efficiency and generate high pressure, providing a solution for various chemical production processes where the use of steel blowers is not suitable.
PPB blowers are used for sucking air containing corrosive vapors in various chemical production processes, where high pressure is required, especially in SCRUBBER systems for treating vapors and gases, suction of odors and gases in wastewater treatment plants, air suction in facilities that extract ozone (UV treatment in plastic factories), and other corrosive processes where the use of steel blowers is not suitable.
Technical Specification
- Impeller diameter: 380-685 mm.
- Drive: Direct, belt, direct with coupling.
- Flow rate: 100-3,000 m³/h.
- Static pressure: 250-700 mmH₂O.
- Construction materials: PP, PVDF, PVC.
- Motors: High-efficiency motors suitable for operation with a frequency converter, option for explosion-proof motors ZONE1 and ZONE2.
- Special additions: Silencers, maintenance inspection hatch, rain hood for the motor, drainage at the bottom of the fan, shaft seal, flexible connectors, vibration mounts, diameter transitions at fan inlet and outlet.
The blower housing and impeller are made of extra-thick polypropylene or PVDF. The blower impellers include stainless steel 316 hub spiders with a thick, fully sealed plastic coating. The spiders feature dimples, Allen screws, and threads for impeller extraction. All blowers are statically and dynamically balanced at the factory.
